2013 Audi A2 Concept

At Frankfurt Motor Show 2011, Audi’s new prototype, the 2013 Audi A2 Concept was officially unveiled. Prior to that, only sketches and design drawings were made available to auto enthusiasts. This compact electric car draws power from a lithium-ion battery, with the capability of generating energy non-stop for up to 201 km. It is rumored to generate a maximum of 85 KW of power and approximately 270 Nm of torque. The 2013 Audi A2 Concept is capable of springing from zero to 100 km per hour in just 9.3 seconds, with the maximum speed of 150 km per hour. As it is, the concept car will soon go into production and will start shipping in 2013.

The concept car’s interior is designed in such a way to take advantage of its flat floor. It can accommodate up to four people, with each siting comfortably on a bucket seat. To facilitate maximum flexibility when it comes to placing cargo, a center console is cantilevered from the seats.
